Refund Policy
Requesting an Exchange:
- Step 1: Create an email directed at Shop@MrLivingRoom.com
- Step 2: Enter "REQUEST FOR EXCHANGE" in all capital letters in the subject line of your email.
- Step 3: Attach an image of your defective product and tell us what's defective about it...
- Step 4: Send us that email!
If your request for exchange has been accepted, it means that within 30 days of ordering, you have successfully proved that your product is in fact defective or damaged.
Requesting a Refund:

- Step 3: Tell us why you would like a refund and whether or not you would like it replaced.
- Step 4: Send us that email!
- Step 5: Don't send us back your product just yet... Wait for a confirmation email from us that gives you the green light! In the email, we'll also notify you of our return shipping address for the item you ordered!
It's very important that you follow these exact steps because with high email volume, there's a chance that your email would otherwise get lost in the pile... Having "REQUEST FOR REFUND" in the subject line of your email helps us stay organized and be able to properly filter and fulfill your requests QUICKLY!
Since we prioritize refund requests, we want to make sure you set yourself up to get the attention you deserve.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Once you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within just a few days!
Please Note: Our system cannot process refunds until you have received your order. That way, we can arrange for you to send it back to us!
Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- If it's still not showing, please wait 5-10 business days (Mon. - Fri.)
- It takes time for banks to process refunds... This is out of our control.

Additional Details
You have a full 30 day period from the date you receive your item to decide if you want a refund or not. Your ability to be refunded lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. Once 30 days have gone by, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange. We reserve the right to refuse to service any damaged, defective or unwanted item reported more than 30 days after the delivery date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. Preferably, it must also be in the original packaging. If for whatever reason you need to re-package the item in a new box, please note that you are responsible for the fee associated with that box (usually a very small fee).
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned: Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Merchandise returns (regardless of reason) need authorization. Any returns due to buyer's remorse must be in the original package, in re-sellable condition and returned within 30 days of delivery. Your refund will be given once we receive the package back at the warehouse and determine that it's in good condition. As far as the return of our products and as far as the associated shipping fees are concerned, we do not pay the cost of your return shipping fee. The only instance in which we will pay the return shipping fee is in the event that your product arrived in damaged condition. Furthermore, to be eligible for a refund on a product that has already been shipped out to you, you must first receive the product before this process can even begin. Just like any other company, we're not always able to intercept packages on their way over to you.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Book with obvious signs of use, CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Gifts:
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
